Sex And The City fans had an unexpected surprise this Sunday night, when it was revealed Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are returning to the city for the revival. Parker confirmed the news in a teasing Instagram post.

The HBO Max series will follow the trio as they navigate love and friendship in their 50s.

Not returning to the show is Kim Cattrall Character Samantha. Parker confirmed on social media that the Samantha Jones character will not be part of the revival.

On Instagram a fan suggested that Samantha Jones, who was originally played by Cattrall, should be recast as Jennifer Coolidge, Parker, 55, who plays Carrie Bradshaw in the series, told the follower the sex-crazed character's story 'isn't part' of the new series "Ouch".

The comments come amid Parker and Cattrall's long-running feud, which both the actresses have denied for many years.

Michael Patrick King joins Parker, Nixon and Davis as executive producers on the 10-episode limited series, which is titled And Just Like That…, kicking off production in late spring in New York City.

With or without Samantha all we know is that we all want and need some more sex and the city to binge on ASAP please. We need these fabulous 50 something ladies to bring us some fierce fashion and relationship advice again.
